Recommendations and Reminders

The Bahá’í Gardens are religious sites and free for the public. As such, visitors are asked to dress modestly, to help keep the place clean and beautiful, and to behave in a manner that is considerate of the sensitivities of others.

To have the best experience during these open nights:

  • To maintain the beauty and sanctity of the gardens, please do not step on the grass.
  • Be mindful and respectful of others’ cultural traditions and religious beliefs.
  • Please keep the gardens clean and place any garbage in the bins.
  • Silence your phone during your visit.
  • Keep to the left when going up and down the terraces.
  • Children should always be under parents' supervision inside the gardens.

Dress: Please wear clothing that covers your shoulders and reaches your knees. Because of the pebbled paths and occasionally slippery pavements, we recommend wearing comfortable shoes with good traction.

Photography is permitted, except for the interior of the Shrine.

Food and drink: Visitors are welcome to bring their own bottle of water, but drinking other beverages, eating, chewing gum and smoking are not allowed inside the gardens.

Strollers: Entry with strollers is possible only at the main entrance on 80 Hatzionut Avenue, and at the first level of German Colony Plaza on 21 Hagefen Street. For the safety of our visitors, the use of a stroller is not possible on the terraces due to the steep slope.

Other prohibitions: Kindly refrain from bringing animals or weapons.

  • Information Points at Entrances
